I'm interested in meeting more people who are members of the CSPC, but I'm rarely comfortable going to an event without a partner and/or engaging intimately with someone I'm not already connected with. Curious about the wet spot.

I went there today to do a photoshoot, and I got the grand tour. I had no idea what the 'center for sex positive culture' was, and now that i know, i'm very interested! My partner and I have been toying with the idea of visiting some outlet just like it for a while. I've also noticed that the circle of people around it seems to interlock with other circles we're in.

Should I test the waters? Should I just jump in? I'm very curious what my first experience at the wet spot would be like, but I suppose I should just leave my inhibitions at the door. SEAF project looking for actors, actresses and models

Need actors/actresses, models and crew for Seattle Erotic Arts Festival project.

Instead of creating a traditional piece of art we have decided to create a short film to submit instead. This is going to be a joint project between all involved and should be a lot of fun to create. The project is intended to be a work of art that expresses the ideas and themes of the erotic art festival. The actors and actresses who apply would need to be comfortable with nudity and able to express feeling, desire, lust and attraction with each other. While the film will be erotic in nature there will be no actual sex acts performed. The filming will be conducted in a professional manor.

The idea we are shooting for is to create a moving photograph. The SEAF is a gallery showing and we wish this piece to be show next to stationary works of art. The TV showing the work will also be a working sculpture created by a friend of ours. Essentially this is an attempt to meld multiple media into one collaborated work.

We encourage people from all walks of life to apply. We don't just want magazine models, but a extremely wide variety of people. Additionally, we want to represent as many ethnicities, sexual orientations and body types as possible. Obviously we will be limited to who likes our ideas, but large variety will make this a better work of art.

No one involved is receiving any payment as this is a collaboration between many people and not intended at all for profit. Those involved will of course receive a copy of the finished work and if accepted by the festival we will purchase you a ticket. Ultimately, the completed work should have well over a dozen individuals involved.

We need people both behind and in front of the camera. If this sounds like a project you would enjoy working on then message me and I will give you more information.

Special Pandora's Dungeon - April Fools Day - Do you have a special scene that might look or feel one way to your "bottom" or those viewing the scene, while actually being something quite different? Do you have a scene that might "fool" the bottom or those watching? This is your opportunity to pull it off.

Of course the entire Dungeon will be available for all other kinds of scenes as well.

"Pandora's Dungeon" Saturday April 1st at the WetSpot 9pm to 3am.

The first Saturday of each month at the Wetspot is "Pandora's Dungeon". There will be a free social from 8pm until 9pm with tours of the dungeon. The Dungeon will open at 9pm and will stay open until 3am. Although not required, Fetish Wear is encouraged. $15 for the evening.

"Pandora's Dungeon" is a Pan-Sexual dungeon event Open to all WetSpot Members and their Guests where all styles and Intensities of S/M (BDSM) and all sexual identities/orientations are welcomed and encouraged.

The majority of the main facility area is dungeon with couches and chairs placed along with equipment. There is no specified social area. The carpet that is usually down during dungeon events is removed on about half of the dungeon to allow sessions in the main dungeon that would generally be restricted to the medical and messy rooms.

“Pandora’s Dungeon” has an area for “Interpretive Free Expression” (dance) as well as an area for “Gratification” including “Self Gratification”.

Because chairs and tables are mixed in among BDSM equipment, this event is particularly beneficial to the exhibitionist style of scening and those that enjoy watching up close. Non-Voyeur Areas are Available in Back Rooms for those who want a more private session.

There is adequate but limited staff (no Monitors/DM's) as we feel everyone is an adult and does not need anyone "inspecting" their particular style of sessioning. “Pandora's Dungeon” is a Pan-Sexual event where all lifestyles, gender orientations, and intensities of sessioning are welcomed and encouraged. You might see sessions in the main dungeon that would likely be delegated to a side room on other nights. We expect those attending this event to have the self-discipline to go to another area of the facility if a particular session is more intense than they feel is comfortable for them.

The structure of Pandora's Dungeon is also set up differently. We use agreements not rules. By attending the event, everyone has agreed to those agreements and they are posted in large print for easy review.

The focus at “Pandora's Dungeon” is to facilitate your experience so you can safely accomplish what you wish to do. With this focus in mind, our goal is to not restrict a session that you wish to engage in, but rather to direct which equipment and where in the dungeon you can engage in your session safely and enjoyably.

It is not necessary to speak to a Host or Event Coordinator before starting your scene or session unless you will be doing certain types of activities (Wax, Fire, Sharp Instrument, Suspension, or Highly Disruptive type of session such as a "take down" scene). One does not speak to the Event Coordinator in order to "ask permission" but rather to inform the Event Coordinator that a scene that may require extra precautions will be taking place and to coordinate where that scene is best accomplished in the dungeon space.

This first conversation will be lead by Kate O'Brien, who is a graduate student in English at the University of California, Davis. Her areas of teaching/research interest include: gender, sexuality and body studies as well as queer and feminist theory, and her dissertation is on the Gothic female body. She's currently an instructor at Seattle's Cornish College of the Arts, teaching a class called the "Problematic Body in Society."

Just moved here from San Francisco, looking to get connected to "the community" here. Have been to Wet Spot orientation, and an event that evening.

Big change from The Citadel in SF where boots and leather dominate, to see kilts, sandals and birkenstocks the dominant fetish attire.

This fair will run from 12-8 at ConWorks, thats where we held the SEAF. There will be free and low cost workshops going on throughout the day, so come, see, learn and buy. We are also goign to try and have a vendor try it area for all those wonderful toys.... This parts still in the works.
